Photos available, $1250 #6 Gallager Civil War Carbine. 50 caliber percussion. Early production, 3000 serial number range. Good solid original carbine with a terrific bore. Patch box and butt stock intact. Has replacement rear sight. Saddle ring and slide bar removed. Consistent dark color throughout with slight pitting around breech. Mechanically solid and functioning perfectly. $1495. #7 Frank Wesson flat side sporting rifle. 26" full octagon barrel with 90-95% of its original bluing turning brown. 32 caliber rim fire OR central fire. These rifles had two firing pins. One above the other. one for rim fire and the other for central fire. {32 long or short Colt.} The face of the hammer has a sliding plate to determine which firing pin is struck. Frame is nickel plated, as is the elaborate trigger guard and the faceted butt-plate. Almost all the original nickel plating is there, and turning that sort of "cloudy" color with age. This is rifle number 864. Factory tang site. Rear barrel sight dovetail has a plug in it. High figure buttstock in very good condition retaining 80-85% of its original varnish. Bore is good to very good. A nice, tight little rifle in bright original condition. The flat sided frame makes it a real eye-catcher. $1795 #9 Parkers'Snow & Co. U.S. model 1861 58 cal musket, Miller cartridge conversion. 32" 58 caliber musket converted to breech loading 58 caliber rim fire. Top of breech block marked " W.H.&G.W. Miller, Patent May 23, 1865". Serial number 1916. Only 2000 muskets were converted by this company {Miller brothers} so this must be one of the last. Very good overall condition. All metal parts are smooth and gray to white in color. No pitting or rust prevalent anywhere save for one spot, about the size of a dime, on the lock plate just before the date. {1864}. Very good bore with sharp, broad land, rifling..Tulip style ram rod appears to be original. Lock plate even has some traces of case colors around,and probably under, the hammer. Wood is very solid and dark, some small dings and dents, and even a shallow chipping, just behind the rear barrel band. Probably from being handled on a horse, as these dings and dents are at the center of balance. Photos available. $1750. #10 Smith & Wesson 3rd model Russian. 6
1/2" barrel, trigger spur model. Very early production with a three
digit serial number. Lanyard ring with "1874", in frame marked on
butt. Smooth gray color consistent throughout. Original walnut grips
with three small {used to be four, two on each panel, one missing} styled

#12 Peabody Outside Hammer Sporting Rifle. Early production{1870's} 44 rim fire. 26" round sporting barrel with rifle type forearm fastened with single screw. Excellent original condition with 85 % original case colors fading around the edges. 90% original varnish on the butt stock and forearm. Wood is higher grade with matching figure on both butt stock and forearm. Perfect bore. Special order saddle ring on left side of breech. Rifle style crescent butt plate. #17 L.C. Smith 10 gauge hammer gun. Exceptional example of a big shotgun from the late 1800s. Syracuse, NY mfg. 30 inch damascus barrels with a terrific finger print or "star" pattern. Extra wide splinter type forearm with fine point pattern checkering and ebony inlay on the snabel lip. Pronounced scallops on the receiver with. 85% case hardening remaining with 40-65% strong case colors. Small burst of floral pattern engraving on each lock plate, and trigger guard. 12,000 serial number range. Round knob pistol grip. 14 3/8" LOP, and 2 1/4" drop at comb. Original hard rubber butt plate with pointing setter embossed in center. All original and in great condition. All wood is solid and original. No rust or pitting. Also has "Wells Fargo and Co 52 " engraved on rib. $2500. #18 Nautical Buffs! Two solid silver Captain's boxes. One 81/2"x31/4"x11/2", Inscribed on the lid: Captain and Mrs. W.A. Sullivan from OFFICERS of N.A.A.S. KINGSVILLE, TEXAS. Second one is much larger, 91/2"x51/2"x21/2'. Inscribed on lid: " to Captain W.A. Sullivan, U.S. Deputy Naval Attache July 1959-May 1961 from his colleagues of The association of Naval Attaches in London" both of them are wooden lined with three compartments. Original percussion New Model 1863. Good to very good original, untouched
carbine. Wood is solid and dark, with no cracks or major dents.
All metal parts are smooth dark color with only a little pitting around
the nipple. Good markings throughout. 22" six groove
barrel. Bore is very good. Mechanically perfect. Serial
number range is 100,000. $3300.
#21 Wesson Percussion Rifle.
Quality replica made in Italy. Imported by Richland Arms, Blissfield
MI. Richland Arms closed in 1986. This is a beautifully
made replica of a Frank Wesson Sporting Rifle. 50 caliber.
28 1/2" heavy octagon barrel. 1 1/16th " barrel diameter at the muzzle.
Muzzle is drilled for a false muzzle. {missing} Double set trigger
group. Small frame is case colored. Barrel is blued.
Top barrel flat is engraved "50 cal. WESSON Rifle" in HUGE
letters. Chasing style engraving on muzzle, and frame, and trigger
guard, patch box, butt plate, forearm cap, and hammer. Very fine
line point pattern checkering {probably 26 or 28 lines per inch}
on a perch belly straight stock and fore arm. Case colored butt plate.

Fire Caliber. 24 inch half octagon half round barrel. Original
sights. Very good overall condition with most of the bluing remaining
on the barrel, and almost all of the original varnish on the straight gripped

Pet. 22 caliber large frame tip-up with removable skeleton
stock. 20 inch half octagon half round barrel. Three way folding
globe type front sight. Original serial numbered butt stock.
Very good overall condition with 85-90% original nickel remaining on the
frame and butt stock. Barrel retains 60% original bluing turning
brown. Original grips in terrific condition. Good to very good
bore with strong rifling throughout. Rare enough Stevens, especially
in this caliber. This was the largest frame Stevens offered with
the removable butt stock. Some men call this a "bicycle gun" . $1595.

Rifle. Rifle serial number 106. 26" full octagon barrel, 22
cal. Very early production example, all original with traces of original
case colors and varnish. 65-80% original bluing on barrel turning
dark.Good bluing remaining on breech block and hammer. Beecham's front

#34 Remington Whitmore
Model 1874 side x side 10 ga. shotgun. VERY early production,
serial number 645. 30 inch steel barrels. Straight stock with
a very nice point pattern checkering. Bores are very good with only a light
frosting towards the breech end. Strong traces of original case colors
on the receiver.The Whitmore had a unique opening mechanism that employed
a top lever,but, it was pushed upward and forward, instead of turned to
the side. Functions perfectly. Barrels are tight and
on face. Wood is excellent and original save for one small professional
repair to upper left wrist. Steel butt plate. An excellent
original example of the first mass produced, reasonably priced, American
double shotgun. $1550

22 cal and 9mm shot.{Fiochi}. Side x side. Side lever hammer
double only 39 inches overall. 23 1/4 inch {metric} barrels.
Belgian or Dutch manufacture, unmarked," guild gun". Excellent
original condition showing 95% original case colors on receiver and butt
plate. Perfect bores with terrific original bluing remaining.
Point pattern checkering. Steel grip cap. Has British and German
proof stamps on barrels. $1750.
#36 Marlin model 1881
lever action rifle. 32-40 caliber. 24 inch full octagon full
magazine rifle. Crescent style butt plate. Very good to excellent
overall original condition. Strong traces of original blue turning
brown on the frame. Barrel and magazine tube have a nice consistent
plumb brown color. Wood is very good and tight and original.
Very good bore. Original sights. $1995.
#37 Henry Nock, London
side x side SINGLE TRIGGER. shotgun. Percussion 12 bore
converted from flint lock. Very interesting early double barrel shotgun.
French walnut stock with some terrific streaky figure. Very wide
{full two inches} at breech end. 24 kt gold shields inset at breech
end of each barrel, and, on each lock plate. Also gold percussion
ring at breech. Engraved steel buttplate with very long top tang.
13 7/8" LOP. 28 inch brown barrels with good twist pattern visible.
Single trigger fires right barrel first. Both barrels seam to have
similar choke { a little less than full}

#39 Colt SAA 1881 7 1/2
inch 45. All original, very good to excellent condition, walnut one
piece grip. Smooth, consistent gray color overall with traces of
case colors and bluing in protected areas. Everything is correct
and original. Letters to San Francisco, July, 1881. $7250.
#40 Sharps 50 caliber heavy barrel
rifle. 14 pound {13.85} heavy half octagon, half round
barrel measuring 1 3/16" inches across the muzzle. Barrel measures
29 11/16". Front sight groove is 3/4" back from muzzle. Civil
War percussion carbine converted to cartridge after the war. Slide bar
saddle ring assembly having been removed. Iron patch box remaining.

TerryLawrence priming device has been removed. forearm
is from a sporting rifle with the second screw hole being plugged. Pewter
inlay on forearm cap. Wooden ramrod. Smooth gray color overall with
good markings and edges. Barrel is marked "D.H. Hilliard
Cornish, N.H. " Bore is close to perfect, very sharp rifling.
Chambered for the 50-70 cartridge. Standard type Sharps rifle sight.

T22 Pair of French percussion pistols.
68 caliber smooth bore. 7 1/2" part octagon, part round and tapered
out to muzzle. No muzzle sight. Small lion in shield on breech.
Bust of woman in elaborate inset shield on top of grip by the top tang.
Embossed lion's head {I think} on bottom of grip. All brass mountings
are engraved {trigger guard, grip cap, ramrod guides, and the bracket on
the left side that the lockplate screws to. Original ramrods have worm
screw on one end. Very good condition and functioning perfectly. SEE

T25 Winchester 1873 Rifle. 38-40
octagon Colt Burgess barrel and magazine tube. Put together a long
time ago. Good solid wood, OK bore. This rifle hung on the
wall at the old "Ponderosa Ranch" in Incline Village, Nevade for 30 years.
Light pitting on frame, dark color on barrel and mag tube. $1495.

12ga. Famous for being the first succesful slide action shotgun
made. This one is original in fair condition. Hard rubber forearm

grey-white, with some slight pitting is isolated areas.

Double set trigger group. Martini type action, with hand detachable
breech-block. 28 3/4" full octagon barrell with all its original
bluing. Bright shiny bore. Original barrell sights. Reciever
has socket for rear aperature, {unfortunately missing} European
style {sling swivel in the front and large button at the rear.} Curious
ram-rod type ferral in front of front sling-swivel. One piece
stock. 80% vivd case colors on reciever and trigger guard- opening
lever. Wood has been dinged and dented and scratched throughout,

Half length mag tube. Original full length could be installed. Bore

mostly faded to an irregular mottled color. Crescent type buttplate.
Correct Lyman tang sight. Mechanically perfect. Wood is solid

T47 Enfield Snider Military Rifle. Pattern 3 .
577 caliber. All original in almost unissued codition. Very good
markings with a MINT bore. Solid and original. Even has small
cup on chain to cover the nipple. Includes bayonet with scabbord.

T48 Remington 12ga. hammer double shotgun. Fair condition,

T50 Pair Corby custom knives. Beautiful
engraved and scrimshawed pair of large hand-made knives. Bowie is
16 3/4" overall with an eleven inch double hollow-ground blade.Hilt is
half brass and half aluminum. Floral pattern engraving on bolster
is continued 3/4 of the way down both sides of the blade. Early style
American Eagle scrimshawed on one side of grip. Grip material is
the "faux ivory" or "Ivorex". Deep yellow color and some grain in
the grip material. Banners dated 1776 on the left and 1976
on the right. Pommel of solid brass also engraved. Dagger is 15 3/4"
long with a 10 1/2" double hollow-ground blade. Engraving only on the
hilt and pommel on the dagger. Has the same grip material and eagle
depiction as the bowie knife.

original bright case colors. Terrific star pattern damascus with

Damascus". 14 1/4" LOP. Mechanically perfect. All the checkering
