ITHACA NID GRADE 1E 12 ga with 28” barrels bored mod and full. This is a nice tight gun with automatic ejectors and double triggers. The action is white with traces of case color that appears to have been polished off which was a common practice so that the engraving showed up better. Most of the original blue remains on the trigger guard. The barrels are very good with no dents or pitting and 98% original blue. Stock has been professionally refinished and is very attractive with some nice figure. Dimensions are: LOP = 14 ¾” over a one inch Red Head pad, D@H = 2 ¾” & D@C = 1 ½”. This variation of the NID gun has cocking indicators and Deeley & Edge forend release - SN 456224; made in 1929. Overall condition is very good.
